Run By ARC School Board, Established 1945

Sri.A.Ramanujulu Chettygaru who was a pioneer in the field of Primary Education started a small pial school in 1882. Later, Sri.K.Ramiah Chetty founded the High School exclusively for girls in 1945 - 1946 with Forms I to V. Now, the school has crossed 75 years of service in the field of education. This Girls High School emerged from the A.R.C. Primary School like Minerva from Jupiter in June 1945.

The ARC School Board, is managing the activities of K.Ramiah Chetty A.R.C.Girls’ Higher Secondary School.

முத்தியாலு பேட்டையில் திரு. கே.ராமைய்யா செட்டியார் பெண்களுக்கென்று பள்ளி அமைத்தார். ஏழை பெண்களுக்கும், ஆதரவற்ற பெண்களுக்கும் ஒரு நல்வாழ்க்கை அமைய வேலை கொடுத்தார். தன் பெண்களைப் போலவே பேணிப் பாதுகாத்து சீராகப் பள்ளியை நடத்தி வந்தார்.

I am proud to be one of the best outgoing students of A.R.C. Girls’ High School. I secured the State Ist rank among girls in the SSLC examination held in the academic year 1969-70. Behind this success is the valuable motivation given by the management of the school, the unpatrolled guidance and untiring efforts of highly committed teachers. I sincerely hope that many students from this school would scale greater and greater heights of glory.

ஆரோக்கியமான போட்டி எனக்கும் , என் தோழிகளுக்கும் படிப்பில் அதிக மதிப்பெண் எடுக்க எப்போதும் போட்டி நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கும். அப்போதெல்லாம் எங்களது ஆசிரியை போட்டி போடுங்கள் ஆனால் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதீர்கள் என்று அறிவுறுத்துவார் அதனை நாங்கள் இன்று வரை கடைப்பிடித்து வருகிறோம் படிப்பு மட்டும் என்று இல்லாமல் சாரணீயர் இயக்கத்திலும், தேசிய மாணவர் படை இயக்கத்திலும் சேர்ந்து பல சான்றிதழல்கள் வாங்கவும் அரிய செய்திகளை தெரிந்து கொள்ளவும் பல விதமான முகாமுக்கு சென்று வந்த அனுபவத்தை நான் அடையவும் எங்கள் பள்ளி எனக்கு மிகவும் உறுதுணையாக இருந்தது
