Junior Red Cross

Junior Red Cross is functioning in our school

Counsellor of our Junior Red cross group is our teacher Mrs.K Rajalakshmi. The objective of JRC is to inspire, encourage and initiate all forms of humanitarian activities among our JRC cadets, to minimise human suffering so that it can create a more congenial climate for peace.

To inculcate these at young age, students of age group from 10 to 14 years are enrolled in this movement.

Every Thursday, around 60 JRC students learn about various skills such as first aid, medicines of nature, road traffic rules in their classes. As a Jack of all trades, these cadets can lend their hand to serve any situation of distress or disaster. They also prepare and place kids to the local society to create awareness in them by sharing their knowledge and skills acquired in JRC training.

With an altruistic attitude, our JRC students have visited old age homes to serve them and also many temples to clean them. To encourage the students in JRC, exams are conducted and certificates are given to them at school level.
