National Cadet Corps (NCC)

National Cadet Corps is functioning in our school successfully and NCC parades are being conducted regularly by the NCC officer Mrs. D.Rajani Bala in our campus.

Aim:  To motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
Our “Troup 5, Unit I TN Girls Battallion of Madras A Group”are lucky to be headed by our NCC officer and teacher Mrs. D.Rajani Bala.

Adding a feather on the cap, Mrs Rajani Bala has undergone the Ttaining at Gwalior to become the prestigious Associate First Class Commissioned Officer of NCC Battallion. We are honoured to produce more than 250 NCC cadets with 'A’ certificate 'till now. Our cadets have imbibed virtues like character, patriotism, comradeship, secular outlook, spirit of adventure by attending Republic Day Camp, Thal Sainik camp and important of all ‘The Combined Annual Training Camp [CATC]' every year to become an able comrade with sense of unity and discipline. Our battalion has rendered service at old age homes, initiated drive of awareness about saving Nature by planting trees and many such socially useful projects.
